Marion Fillancq is a contemporary French artist and designer whose work exists at the intersection of sculpture, jewellery, and fashion. Drawing inspiration from archaeology, primitive forms, and early adornment, she creates striking pieces that reinterpret notions of preciousness through a distinctly sculptural lens. Combining ancient stone-cutting techniques with materials such as crystal, bronze, and mirror, her work evokes a raw yet refined sense of beauty.
Originally trained in glassblowing and decorative arts before graduating in jewellery design from the prestigious École Boulle, Fillancq developed a unique artistic language rooted in the concept of “primitive beauty.” Her handcrafted works — produced in unique editions or small series from her Paris workshop — blur the boundaries between wearable object, contemporary sculpture, and design.
