Please note, this is a one-of-a-kind ring made for our ARTring 2025 exhibition. ARTring is an annual celebration of bold design and craftsmanship showcasing masterful creations from over 40 unique designers. The ARTring event is hosted in the gallery from November to January. Each ARTring comes with a dedicated Story Card featuring a sketch and quote from the designer.

The Asymmetric Mixed Cut Diamond Cluster Art Ring by Ruth Tomlinson is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece that encapsulates timeless elegance and artistic sophistication. At its heart, a lustrous grey pear-shaped diamond, with its unique and alluring colour, takes center stage. The rose cut, with its flat bottom and multi-faceted domed top, accentuates the diamond's natural beauty, casting a soft, romantic glow. Surrounding this exquisite centrepiece, a cluster of smaller diamonds and gemstones is meticulously arranged, creating a captivating and intricate art piece. This ring is a harmonious blend of traditional craftsmanship and artistic design, making it a striking symbol of individuality and refined taste.

Ruth says about her Art Ring:

"The ephemerality of nature's life cycles has always fascinated me, each phase so beautiful and captivating in its own way. Once the bright colours of autumn have faded and what remains are tones and textures of brown, that is when the less obvious beauty can be discovered and celebrated - a quieter, unpretentious beauty that I find more interesting."
