ARTring is an annual celebration of bold design and craftsmanship showcasing masterful creations from 30 unique designers. The ARTring event is hosted in the gallery from November to January. Each ARTring comes with a dedicated Story Card featuring a sketch and quote from the designer.
The Drop Art Ring by Shimel & Madden is a striking one-of-a-kind statement ring crafted in 18ct yellow gold and featuring a captivating blue sapphire at its centre. The radiating rings of gold encircle the sapphire, creating a visual effect reminiscent of ripples spreading from a droplet disturbing the surface of tranquil water, making it a truly unique and mesmerizing piece.
Emma says about her Art Ring:
"Finding geometry in nature. Radiating rings of gold surround a blue sapphire like the formation of ripples from a droplet disrupting the surface of still water".
