ARTring is an annual celebration of bold design and craftsmanship showcasing masterful creations from 30 unique designers. The ARTring event is hosted in the gallery from November to January. Each ARTring comes with a dedicated Story Card featuring a sketch and quote from the designer.
The Guardians Art Ring by Eily O Connell unveils an enchanting narrative inspired by the mysterious depths of the sea. Crafted with artistic finesse, this one-of-a-kind ring portrays a bi-coloured sapphire in mesmerising green and yellow hues, symbolising the hidden treasures guarded by the mystical beings of the deep. Positioned above a bed of glossy coral, the sapphire reflects an array of captivating colours. The piece invites exploration, hinting at concealed glistening secrets nestled among the intricate enamel details, making it a unique and evocative creation that captures the essence of the ocean's enigmatic beauty.
Eily says about her Art Ring:
"Lurking beneath the surface of the sea there are all sorts of treasures tucked away, protected by tiny guardians of the deep. A unique, bi-coloured sapphire in green and yellow hues is safely held above a bed of glossy coral in reflecting colours. Here you will find more glistening secrets cloaked amongst the enamel".
