Please note, this is a one-of-a-kind ring made for our ARTring 2025 exhibition. ARTring is an annual celebration of bold design and craftsmanship showcasing masterful creations from over 30 unique designers. The ARTring event is hosted in the gallery from November to January. Each ARTring comes with a dedicated Story Card featuring a sketch and quote from the designer.

The Loinnir Art Ring by Eily O'Connell is a one-of-a-kind 9ct yellow gold ring inspired by winter’s quiet beauty. Its unique mix of diamonds, including grey, salt-and-pepper, and raw white stones, captures light against the darkness, echoing the Irish meaning of Loinnir - sunlight dancing on the sea. With organic, sculptural lines and handcrafted artisanal detailing, this ring is a nature-inspired statement piece celebrating subtle illumination and seasonal transformation.

Eily says about her Art Ring:

"The season I have chosen for this ring is Winter. Nature retreats, withered and hibernating, immersed in darkness. The sun symbolised by the gold, still glistens and dances over the darkness. “Loinnir” is the Irish word used to describe sunlight dancing on the sea, symbolising enlightenment."
