THE RING
"out of the ashes, in to the frying pan” - The phoenix egg
In Greek mythology, a phoenix is a long-lived bird that cyclically regenerates or is otherwise born again. Associated with the sun, a phoenix obtains new life by arising from the ashes of its predecessor. According to some sources, the phoenix dies in a show of flames and combustion. All birds lay eggs and the phoenix is no exception. Would the phoenix lay its egg whilst being on fire as it is passing away? Would the egg make a tasty omelette, or is it impossible to fry it, as it is impervious to heat' - Max Danger
