This ring is part of our Art Ring showcase at Tomfoolery. Art Ring is an annual celebration of bold design and craftsmanship showcasing masterful creations from over 40 unique designers. The Art Ring event is hosted in the gallery from November to January. Each Art Ring comes with a dedicated Story Card featuring a sketch and quote from the designer.
A bold silver and 18ct yellow gold ring with tourmaline. The wide, ridged silver band has three black tourmaline rectangles set vertically alongside a polished 18ct yellow gold section.
''This ring is inspired by the relation between natural and man-made elements. The black tourmaline crystal, with its burnt, wood-like texture, contrasts with the absolutely perfect high polished gold. This design aims to find the perfect balance between texture, colour and feelings.'' - Marion Lebouteiller

Marion Lebouteiller is a French jeweller who lives and works in the UK.
