Please note, this is a one-of-a-kind ring made for our ARTring 2024 exhibition. ARTring is an annual celebration of bold design and craftsmanship showcasing masterful creations from 30 unique designers. The ARTring event is hosted in the gallery from November to January. Each ARTring comes with a dedicated Story Card featuring a sketch and quote from the designer.
The Oval Blue Sapphire & Diamond Art Ring by Shimara Carlow, featuring an Australian parti sapphire at its center, flanked by two sparkling diamonds, this one-of-a-kind ring pays homage to the designer's love of the sea and the precious stones of Australia. Designed as part of a complementary stacking trio, each piece can be worn individually or together, offering timeless elegance and versatility.
Shimara says about her Art Ring:
"Starting with the idea of three, I wanted to expand my stacking rings into a trio that complements each other but can be worn individually. THE PARTI SAPPHIRE RING features a center stone and two diamonds, celebrating 30 years of Tomfoolery. Since living in Australia I have embraced the use of precious stones in my work, and the Australian parti sapphire is the one I love best, it always makes me think of the sea, which is my favorite place to be."
