ARTring is an annual celebration of bold design and craftsmanship showcasing masterful creations from 30 unique designers. The ARTring event is hosted in the gallery from November to January. Each ARTring comes with a dedicated Story Card featuring a sketch and quote from the designer.
The Phellem Art Ring by Issy White is a tribute to the eternal, unpredictable allure of Mother Nature. A one-of-a-kind ring crafted from 14ct yellow gold, it features a unique hollow centre, encircled by diamonds, reminiscent of lichen growth on a tree, creating a truly exceptional and nature-inspired piece.
Issy says about her Art Ring:
"A piece that pays homage to the endless, unpredictable beauty of Mother Nature. The ring is cast from the outer crust of English Oak bark (phellem), with a negative space that’s ringed by diamonds, like a whorl of lichen encrusted on a tree".
