All SCHERNING jewellery is made by hand in their workshops in Copenhagen and Portugal, featuring a collection of bold enamel and delicate porcelain. Made by hand, in their Portuguese workshop, the porcelain mass is coloured and cast in plaster moulds for the finest small pendants. After the first firing, they are individually glazed and fired again. Each pendant is then decorated by hand, before the third and final firing. The work is done by hand and natural variations may occur between pieces.
