Silver Corkscrew Hoops by Issy White – Cast in sterling silver, these hoop earrings have been cast directly from the bark of a Corkscrew Willow. The left and right hoops are cast from different pieces of bark, carefully chosen for their naturally complementary patterns and shapes. Slightly different from one another, their subtle individuality reveals itself on closer inspection.
Issy White often uses a technique known as ‘lost wax casting’, giving her nature-inspired jewellery a rustic, textured and organic form. Using sustainable materials to turn natural elements into jewellery, Issy has been making jewellery for over a decade. Her work mixes modern aesthetics with organic simplicity, often textures and shapes directly from found objects, plants and trees.
