Please note, this is a one-of-a-kind ring made for our ARTring 2025 exhibition. ARTring is an annual celebration of bold design and craftsmanship showcasing masterful creations from over 30 unique designers. The ARTring event is hosted in the gallery from November to January. Each ARTring comes with a dedicated Story Card featuring a sketch and quote from the designer.

The Spring Equinox Art Ring by Alice Clarke is a celebration of balance, growth, and awakening, inspired by her return to the wild beauty of rural North Yorkshire. The springtime equinox marks the moment when day and night stand in perfect balance, heralding longer days and the season of renewal, growth, and gentle transformation. Drawing from budding trees, fresh carpets of green across the Dales, and the lengthening light of spring, this design captures the clarity and energy of the turning season. The main character, a vivid green 4.02ct pear-shaped emerald, held in place by two delicate ‘sprouting’ stems of 100% recycled 18ct yellow gold, brings the fresh energies of renewal, balance, and growth - perfectly aligned with the symbolism of spring and the excitement of returning home to begin anew, carrying the lessons of yesterday.

Alice says about her Art Ring:

"Inspired by my return to North Yorkshire, THE SPRING EQUINOX RING captures the energy of renewal and growth. Seeing the Dales come alive again with blossoms, fresh greens, and light reignited my creative spirit. This piece celebrates awakening, balance, and the beauty of beginning again."
