Please note, this is a one-of-a-kind ring made for our ARTring 2021 exhibition. ARTring is an annual celebration of bold design and craftmanship showcasing masterful creations from over 40 unique designers. The ARTring event is hosted in the gallery from November to January. Each ARTring comes with a dedicated Story Card featuring a sketch and quote from the designer.
Max Danger uses illustrations as a starting point, his jewellery aims to translate narratives into three-dimensional wearable objects. He trained as a fine jeweller in his native city of Copenhagen, and then at the Royal College of Art in London.
Max says about her art ring:
"The subtle colours of the falling leaves. The early rose gold sunsets reflected on the pink diamond clouds. The reminder that winter is coming and a tribute to the mastodons that roamed the earth in the ice age. The knowledge that all the seasons of the year complement each other.
After all, would your favourite season be appreciated equally as much had you not experienced the others?"
