ARTring is an annual celebration of bold design and craftsmanship showcasing masterful creations from over 30 unique designers. The ARTring event is hosted in the gallery from November to January. Each ARTring comes with a dedicated Story Card featuring a sketch and quote from the designer.
The Winter's Cloak Art Ring by Emilie Shapiro is a one-of-a-kind artisanal ring featuring a raw aquamarine centerpiece, accented with tanzanite and emerald set in brass. Its organic, nature-inspired design evokes the serene elegance of winter landscapes, blending handcrafted artistry with a unique gemstone composition for collectors of distinctive, organic jewellery.
Emilie says about her Art Ring:
"The faint dusting of snow that covers the ground and the trees and hides all the blemishes like a silver cloak. Giving us space to hibernate, space to heal, and space to grow. The edges peak out - frozen in time and forced to slow down, yet still a proof of life. Patiently waiting to be kissed by the sun and for Winter's cloak to slowly disappear. How I long for stillness, how I long for Winter."
