ARTring is an annual celebration of bold design and craftsmanship showcasing masterful creations from over 40 unique designers. The ARTring event is hosted in the gallery from November to January. Each ARTring comes with a dedicated Story Card featuring a sketch and quote from the designer.
The Winterfly Art Ring by Leto Lama is a one-of-a-kind, nature-inspired design in 18ct yellow gold. A moonstone cabochon is surrounded by sculpted gold wings, blue and white moonstones, and white diamonds. Evoking the stillness and brilliance of a frozen landscape, this delicate yet enduring ring captures the interplay of frost and moonlight, transforming precious stones into a wearable symbol of winter’s quiet beauty and the magic of metamorphosis.
Leto says about her Art Ring:
"Winterfly captures the stillness and brilliance of a frozen landscape. At its heart glows a marquise moonstone cabochon, luminous as winter’s pale moon. Surrounding it, wings of 18ct gold unfold — their surfaces alive with scattered blue sheen and white moonstone cabochons and icy white diamonds, each glinting like snow caught in flight. This butterfly is both delicate and enduring: a symbol of transformation crystallised in precious stones. The interplay of the moonstone colours and the brilliant diamonds evokes frost against night skies, light against shadow."
